Meet Bruce Gangawer
Meet Bruce Gangawer, horticulturist and lover of flora and fauna. His grandmother instilled in him the respect for nature at an early age. His degree in ornamental horticulture from Rutgers University led him on a determined path to create a greenscape at this 32-acre Bucks County, Pennsylvania property where he lives and grows plants at his nursery, Paxson Hill Farm. His fertile imagination dances in the wind and plants itself among the extraordinary gardens he designed on the farm to inspire all who visit.
Bruce grew up in Chester, New Jersey and began setting roots and planning his project in Bucks County in 1997 on what was previously flat, barren land. Bruce transformed it into the amazing multifaceted landscape it is today with plants he cultivates and sells at the nursery.
Seeing is Believing
Since seeing is believing, begin a virtual tour by visiting our Photo Gallery pages. Then come in for a real visit and meet Bruce and nursery manager, Lynn Windholz. They are both generous in sharing their horticultural knowledge and gardening experience. You will be invited to walk the inspirational gardens for ideas with the satisfaction of knowing you can purchase most of the plants you see on site.
Recognized as one of six Bucks County gardens to visit in Green Scene Magazine published by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society in 2013.
